Hot Rolled Steel Buildings
The unit of measure of hot rolled structures (structural steel) is the metric ton (MT). Hot Rolled Steel Structures applications include Multi Storey low rise buildings, equipment supporting structures, pipe racks, Petro Chemical Plants, Power Plants, Conveyor supporting structures, Cement plants, etc.
Hot rolled steel buildings are manufactured with many different weights of steel from 13 kg/m to 388 kg/m depending on its use, it used for larger span buildings, particularly where a building is used to store bulk material or where gantry cranes or other heavy equipment need to be attached to the building’s framework as hot rolled steel sections tend to be thicker and more robust than cold rolled steel, it also have a much higher eaves height and can have multiple storey’s.
The majority of hot rolled steel buildings and structures are designed by consultants and tendered for fabrication, blasting, painting and delivery to the job site.
El masry steel as a fabricator is responsible for the design of connections and the preparation of shop drawings, erection drawings and Bills of Materials (BOM’s) as an early design stage and documentation phase for further on site installation and complementation of labour work.
